Family half-day printmaking session (1 or 2 adults, up to 4 children) – £85
Includes: 150 minutes tuition time, all materials and a cuppa and cake. Book Friday or Saturday sessions to start at 9.30am or 1.30pm.
Kids’ printmaking party – £90+ (weekends only)
Includes: 120 minutes mark-making and printing for up to 5 kids from 2 age groups, 6 to 11 or 12 to 16. This is an activity-based party package held in the studio. After printing you can use our lovely farmhouse kitchen for a further hour to cater for the party. Just provide your own food and decorations.
Or I can travel to you with my mobile printing kit. There’s a small additional cost for travel and extra numbers of kids. Ring me on 07702090559 to chat about this.
As well as teaching adults in 1:1 or ‘bring a friend’ courses I offer similar sessions with kids. (I have a DBS certificate). The sessions are shorter, to keep printmaking affordable.
- 1:1 – 90 minutes to create an image to print onto cards. Take home 4 cards, the lino block and an artist’s card: £35
- 2:1 – 90 minutes to create an image to print onto cards. Each child takes home 4 cards, their lino block and an artist’s card: £45
These linocut classes are ideal for 8 to 13 year olds. For younger children I replace linocutting with making marks into polystyrene to create equally lovely prints. 14 and older can come for a standard adult course.
1 ADULT, 1 CHILD PRINTMAKING WORKSHOP
A kid aged 4-7 can come with an adult for a 2-hour session. The child will work with polystyrene tiles to make a print. Their adult will do a linocut print. You will produce 4 eco friendly cards to take home with your plates and an artist’s card: £55
A kid aged 8-13 can come with an adult for a half day (3 hour session). You will both design a linocut print, take home your plates and 4 images, plus an artist’s card: £65
You will also see me taking my linocut workshops on the road. I try to make sure printing is accessible to everyone and have fun themes and my own carved blocks the kids can work with – like the Circus printing sessions I did on 21 July 2019.
